Star Trek Strange New Worlds Captain Pike Jackets Undershirts Starfleet Uniforms

I ordered for Halloween, came quickly and I was impressed by the quality of the costume. It was very well-made!

THE GOOD: The uniform is higher-quality than I expected. It seems well-enough-made to use multiple times and is reasonably priced. Customer service was great — the order was processed and shipped more quickly than expected (knowing it ships from China).

THE BAD: The uniform fits really nicely at the shoulders, but is definitely a slim cut. I typically wear an XL shirt/jackets, but (in hindsight) I should have gone with a 2X or 3X because my belly really bulges more than I’d like (or expect) from an XL uniform. Lastly, the fabric does not breathe, so expect to sweat quickly (especially if the fit is snug).

THE VERDICT: Pleasantly surprised and will shop with FanTrek again, but with the sizing experience in-mind. And, yes, I did take my measurements before selecting a size. An under-shirt would be appropriate for moisture-wicking and preserving the garments.

I searched everywhere for a decent white undershirt for my Monster Maroon without having to drop some big bucks on Etsy. In USA sizing I wear XL shirts and this large fits perfectly on me. I ordered an xl just to see the difference. At this price it was worth it. Very happy I found this.

I’m 6 foot, wear XL shirts & wear 36 inch pants. I studied the size chart. I went with a Large and it’s a perfect fit. I love this uniform. It really came alive when I attached my insignia. Material is thick and stretchy. Now just have to locate a better belt & white under shirt. This is my 2nd Monster. I have a Twok from eBay that’s “red”, poorly sewn and just okay for $130. This Pike uniform blows the other out of the water and it’s more affordable. Five stars for me. Very Happy.

...I've found another outlet which manufactures the quilted/trapunto ribbed collar & cuff undershirt for the original movie-era Starfleet uniforms! The one I originally ordered - an XL - was too big. This was after taking careful measurements on myself and a normal button-down shirt in order to pick what I thought was the proper size. So, a word of caution to those thinking of purchasing this: They run a bit on the big, so please take that into account when choosing which size to order. I then ordered a new one in what I believe will be the proper size (Medium. I'm 5'8" tall, 145 lbs). As for the shirt I currently have, it's well made - material and construction are exactly as advertised. I'm awaiting delivery of the Medium to see whether it'll fit properly. Customer service responded very quickly and I cannot commend them enough for their polite and swift reply.

If I have a suggestion, it might be that Fanrek make some of the other other colors featured in the movies - gold for engineering/ops, blue for sciences, green for medical, and red for cadet.
